Earthbound Information
Released in June 1995 this unique RPG featured many classic RPG features but mixed with wacky characters, hilarious dialog and crazy enemies. It took place in a more realistic locations than the fantasy settings of most RPGs. The main characters where 13 years old and used baseball bats, frying pans, laser guns and PSI powers to battle their ultimate enemy Giygas. The game did well in Japan, but really only reached "cult" type status in North America.
Nintendo in 2003 re-released this game in Japan in a Mother Collection called Mother 1+2, but it's most likely that North Americans will probably never get to play Earthbound on their GBAs. |  | Earthbound Guides
