Earthbound Central, was completed and released to the world on May 18th, 1999. I had tried to do an EB site previously, It was called "Tom Aitken's Earthbound World", but I had two sites aready running and had no time to work on a third, plus the site was not up to par, so I canned it. After The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out my site on it came to an almost screeching halt... I decided I wanted to do another site, and I set out to make one of the most comprehensive and exciting Earthbound sites out there. Thanks to Starmen.net I got some great exposure, and we're still going strong to this day.

We've had many different features, sections, and changes here on EBC in our 6 years, here is a list of the key ones:

• The EB64 petition: We had an EB64 petition, which reached it's low signature count of 100.
• The Mother on GBC petition: We tried that too and it failed pretty quickly.
• Message boards: These haven't ever really been a success here at EBC.
• A newsletter: I actually managed to send one edition out, if you have it, keep it.
• Ness's House: Was a little online adventure through the first part of EBzero that takes place in Ness's House. This tiny adventure could be completed in about 30 seconds.
• EBC: The History: The most unique section of EBC, it allows you to check out a visual history of EBC's layouts.
• The GameShifter: A webcomic that I worked on for a while, it was fun, but it took 3 hours to do one strip.
• Almost Yearly Layout Changes: EBC has only once used a layout or color sceme for more than a year (2 years for EBC2k4 is the longest), so basically we've had almost yearly layout and color sceme changes every year, and once, twice in a year!
• We're talking 6 Years: Of Earthbound Coverage! EBC has been around since May 18th, 1999. That date in 2005 will be our 6th birthday! We have over 20775 hits... And are one of the longest lasting Earthbound sites around...
