This is a shot of me with my cedar strip canoe, Dharma Bum. I built it myself, taking over 240 hours to do it. Before my Bowron trip in July 1998, I replaced the gunwales and did repair work, including varnishing. It's a big, comfortable canoe which I've taken on the Bowron three times.
