My artistic direction is earth conscious. The concepts of my sculptures, constructions and two dimensional works exhibit humans in their relation to the environment and themselves. With my drawings I attempt to create messages that demonstrate the human impact on this world.
I use the integration of wood & stone, sculptural elements into a large –scale sited artwork in furniture and smaller scale carvings, models and sculptures.
My emphasis is with archaic, architectural wooden sculptures where beams, wooden joinery and carvings are made with essential care for fine craftsmanship.
The idea and spirit of “Shelter” is my leading inspiration with
