I redesigned an old stone house with Bernie Anderson.
Within it, I designed, carved and integrated sculptures,
including a large spiritual snake
and a set of serpents supporting a balcony
with a Sisutl Northwest Coast crescent.
The balcony is perched above
my handcrafted yellow cedar, bone & glass door
and supporting carved pillars.
I designed and assembled this as a single element
using traditional joinery
without the use of fasteners.
