Diversify your fishing experience!
Try Nootka Sound, Tahsis Inlet and Nuchatlitz Reef on the west coast - some of the most productive fishing areas for large Chinook in all of B.C. for adventure and trophy fishing. As well as tying into some great fighting salmon, you'll see an array of wild-life including grey whales, killer whales, sea otters, sea lions, eagles and bears. Fishing in 2000 was outstanding!! Fishing in 2001 is expected to be great. The largest fish caught in summer 2000 was 38 pounds.
Your guide and host Howie Ellis will arrange for your visit to Tahsis, 60 km west of Gold River which is 160 km west of Campbell River where you'll stay for a minimum of 3 days and 3 nights. Days will be spent fishing in quiet inlet waters or on calm days, on the open ocean in our comfortable 27 foot Grady White cruiser.

The days will be long and fishy - from around 5 am until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Lunch including beverages will be included on board, while an evening meal dinner will be enjoyed at the local neighbourhood pub restaurant.Cost per fisherman per day is $400 US plus 7% GST for 3 days and 3 nights (minimum booking). Deposit of $1000 US required. Transportation from Campbell River by rental car or float plane is not included in this rate.
